"Operations Management in Industry" is an International and Interdisciplinary Journal in the field of Operations Management within Manufacturing and Service Organizations. The Primary objective of this Journal is to Contribute to the Enhancement of Industries in various Countries by promoting increased Social Capital, Sustainable Development, and the adoption of Innovative Technologies.
Operations Management Encompasses the Study and Management of Processes and Activities Involved in the Production of Goods and the Provision of Services Required by an Organization's Customers. Operations Management emphasizes the Optimal Utilization of Resources such as Mmaterials, labor, Equipment, and Technology in Production and Service Delivery Processes, with the aim of Reducing Resource Wastage and Enhancing Product or Service Efficiency and Quality.
- Aims and Scopes: The "Operations Management in Industry" journal serves as a platform for the dissemination and exchange of knowledge in the field of operations management, fostering interactions among researchers, industry professionals, and students.
- Reviewing Process: Articles will be preliminarily reviewed within seven days, notify the author, or be placed in the reviewing process. According to the Peer Review Flowchart, articles for publication in OMI should be approved by at least two referees. The duration of the process may take up to five months and can be tracked via the OMI site.
- Indexing: OMI is indexed in Google Scholar, National Journal Database (Magiran).
- Publication Ethics: OMI adheres to the publication ethics and malpractice policies outlined by Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and complies with the highest ethical standards in accordance with ethical laws.
- Plagiarism: OMI is strongly against any unethical act of copying or plagiarism in any form. All manuscripts submitted for publication to OMI are cross-checked for plagiarism using Turnitin or iThenticate.
Manuscripts found to be plagiarized during the initial stages of review are out-rightly rejected and not considered for publication in the journal. In case a manuscript is found to be plagiarized after publication, the Editor-in-Chief will conduct a preliminary investigation, maybe with the help of a suitable committee constituted for the purpose.
